From November 28 to 29, the BAT Tower in Bizkaia will host a unique forum on innovation and quantum technologies. The consortium EuroQCISpain organized this event. The forum aims to unite key players in the quantum industry to discuss, exchange ideas, and establish synergies. Together, they will tackle and overcome future challenges in deploying quantum communication technologies in Europe.

The consortium EuroQCISpain’s primary objective is to develop and deploy quantum communications technology in Spain within the EuroQCI framework – the European Quantum Communications Network. This initiative seeks to deploy quantum secure communications across Europe in the next decade.

Universities and research centers like ICFO (the project coordinator), UPM, and CSIC, along with industrial entities such as Cipherbit-Grupo Oesía and Indra, and telecommunications companies like Telefonica and Cellnex comprise the consortium.
